Datalog input
When wiring up a button for datalogging, is it constant ground, or a momentary ground to get it started and stopped?

Re: Datalog input
Use a momentary ground-switch.

Thanks James. Stepping up my wiring game this winter with some push buttons from Billet Buttons.com and getting a dedicated datalog button

Nathan,
Get a push button with a built-in LED indicator light with separate terminals. That way you can integrate Datalog ON/OFF and Datalog indicator LED in the same button
We use a button like this in the Outlaw Opel : https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1TLNkXC3P ... 20x220.jpg
It has a nice microswitch-like feel to it

Re: Datalog input
Funny, I just ordered something similar. I want a small momentary button with an LED. I went with this one...
