Hello guys I'm from Italy and I just purchased a Microsquirt ecu, I worked with DTA ecus but MS works with a little different logic.
I'm going to set it up on my 2007 Ktm 950 smr, is a 75° V-twin carbed engine.
My plan is to mantain the carbs and control the ignition with microS.
On the bike I have a 24-2 wheel ridden by a VR sensor, Coil On plug (one coil for every ciylinder)
If I run in wasted spark, do I have to set "Wasted COP" and "odd fire first angle: 75" (supposing the rear cylinder is the 1) right ?
Another question.
Can I run sequential with the MAP phasing logic with MICROSQUIRT? If yes, how?
In that case, the odd fire fist angle might be 360+75=435 right?
I attach a msq file. Look only at the ignition settings, the ve table, spark table etc are the standard ones.
Thank you for reply

Re: KTM 950 SMR V-Twin Microsquirt Project
Yes, this would need wasted-COP spark output, and you can use the MAP sensor for phase detection on a V-twin.

Do you mean "Yes" for all'?Matt Cramer wrote:Yes, this would need wasted-COP spark output, and you can use the MAP sensor for phase detection on a V-twin.
75° odd fire for wasted spark (and wasted COP mode)
435° Odd fire for sequential with MAP(and sequential mode)
Is all right?
Another question. Is there a way to modify the firmware? I might need one spark table for every cylinder
Thank you
