Bloody filter!!!
Hi guys
I can't Ve analyse because it keeps saying my log was 99 percent filtered!! Due to min clt values.
I have tried setting to very low levels to avoid filter, and have filter turned off
Really frustrating because I can't tune!!
It's a 911 Porsche 2.7 with ms2
Suggestions?

Re: Bloody filter!!!
I guess that you have a fixed temperature because there is no or you didnt connect the temp sensor.
Check your temperature value, and adjust filter to it.

Re: Bloody filter!!!
I see a couple of odd things in that log.
I'm thinking we still need to see your tune file (msq)!

Re: Bloody filter!!!
IAT or MAT refer to Intake Air Temperature or Manifold Air Temperature; they're the same. Basically the temperature of the air before it enters the engine.
This seems to be an issue with what you set for your filter criteria. I can use VEA just fine using your datalog and MSQ.danbeck wrote:I can't Ve analyse because it keeps saying my log was 99 percent filtered!! Due to min clt values.

Thanks for the feedback guys and Merry Christmas!!
I'm so green at all of this. I really underestimated how challenging tuning is...
If I could get the megalog to stop telling me my log was filtered Id have a shot
What am I doing wrong??

Re: Bloody filter!!!
What coolant temperature are you seeing? From the message it must be wildly inaccurate or you are in Siberia?
If your basic sensors aren't reporting accurate numbers you MUST fix that before trying autotune.

Re: Bloody filter!!!
I think this might be more of an issue with the negative number he put in.
His CLT in the log seems reasonable and it worked just fine on my version of MegaLogviewer and MinCLT 60.
Edit: I also just tested this with the -22 he entered in the screenshot, and this still works fine on my computer. As I already said I'm using MLV though.
His CLT varies between 150 and 170°F, so this seems to be in order.

Re: Bloody filter!!!
It didn't matter if I posted a low positive number or put in -22 (just to get it away from filtering)
Is there anything else that could be a problem?
Maybe Ill try again? There must be a reason this is being filtered
Thanks for your feedback
