2 step sometimes work, some doesn't.

Post by tryingbe »

So, I have a strange issue, sometimes the 2 steps works great, ie, I can rev the engine to 7k, step on clutch, rev drops while I still WOT.

Other times, the 2 steps rev limit seems to activate without the clutch switch input while I am still WOT, the log reflect this.

Looking for ideas. Thanks.

Maybe use a pull up/down resistor set up on the clutch input ?
This way the input doesn't float when not active.

The log definitely shows the clutch switch input triggering on the "not working" log - see ADC7 drop at about the same time it applies the 2 step.
