Been out of the game for a good bit, and this is something I've been wanting to do since my fan has such a huge inrush load (MVIII). Which release is this?

like to see
min duty AC
added instead of using full speed I only need 20% duty on a hot day
other then that works perfect on 1.6.0 release

thank you

So does this feature linearly increase duty between the on temp and the full speed temp? I figure the whole purpose of PWM is to be able to slowly accelerate the fan speed so figured does the On temp run minimum duty and full speed run maximum duty, and everything in between interpolated?

Yes, that's what it does. The soft-start should be easier on your alternator and prevent sudden voltage drops.

I am making a controller for this. I just don't know when it it be ready.

Currently can be trigger via, low side pwm, high side pwm, a trigger signal @ 5V, 0-5V, a thermistor with built in 3d map for automatic turining onn/off and Serial/UART.

Maybe I will add a CANBUS option -> this will increase price a bit, but will still be pretty inexpensive.

The issue with this some fans are really high current and I am not sure megasquirt has the mosfets required to control a fan. The signal of the FAN since is such high current can pollute the GND plane
