I currently have adapter boards available for the 3SGTE engine and for numerous OBDI Toyota/Honda/Mazda/Mitsubishis that use the same 76-pin connector. I've been designing a newer version, incorporating circuitry for MS2E add-ons. Specifically, I have 2 general purpose outputs, support for table switching, launch control, 2 x VR circuits, PWM boost control, an inverted output (for Toyota TVIS), barometric correction and a couple of non-MS-specific extras (EGT amplifier, knock headphone amp).
After rearranging everything, I've got a 1.5" x 0.6" patch free (on the 5V part of the board) - not enough to put Peak/Hold circuitry, too much to leave blank. No rush, these boards won't be built until I sell down my current stock.
I've though about possibly adding circuitry for an accelerometer (it'll fit, but requires 3 A/Ds or multiplexing), but I'm open for suggestions.
Any ideas? Wish lists?
What to do with 0.9 sq inch extra....
