MShift on Microsquirt

Post by skalor »

I bought a Microsquirt thinking I could run the Mshift firmware to control a 4T80e but everytime I flash it I have communication problems with the Microsquirt. I've tried multiple version and all do the same thing. I have had good results with James' Microsquirt trans controller firmware but I need to change more options than that has available. Any help would appreciated.

What additional options do you need?

I'm using an '06 4T80e and the internal range switch logic is different. I would like to be able control the input logic for each gear, the ouput logic is the same as a 4L80e so I don't need any change there. I would also like if I could switch the PWM time on PCS to match the 614 Hz solenoid that's used. If you just want to add another drop box selection for the 4T80e I can get back to you on the range switch logic. Thank you for the quick response.

Post it up, sounds easy enough to add.

Sorry it took so long to reply. Here's a pdf with the internal range switch logic. I don't need to change the PCS control, I'll just scale the tables down by 50%. Output settings are the same as a 4L80. I really appreciate the help so thanks in advance. :D
