[Feature Request]: Sequential Flatshift -CLOSED LOOP

Is it possible to add an new feature that allows closed loop spark-cut during sequential shift cut?
Geartronics has a standalone gcu that can control this feature and it works great. It looks on the gear detection -> input port Voltage to ensure spark/fuel only comes back when the gear is correctly "in".
This would be great!

it would be nice to have closed loop gear control.

However, even if it is considered, it will not be a quick adoption. at least not to do it correctly.
So if you are looking at it in the near future, best to use the Geartronics easy shift.

Why should the adoption be such a problem?

The shift cut sensor (my Sadev gearbox has one in stock) cuts the spark (to be ony the safe side e.g. for 40ms) and it will be returned if the gear is correctly engaged which is secured by a mV window for each gear. Voila.
This is a lot better then the actual time based shift cut option and geartronics makes it like this.

I am still VERY interested in this feature.

So the only things that have to be changed on the existing code is:
1. Small mV-window table for each gear where the gear is fully engaged.
#0 = 0,54-0,58mV
#1 = 0,88-0,93 mV
.
.

2. A "failsafe" field for minimum and maximum spark cut, activated by the spark cut sensor.
So, that spark will never return below 0,03ms and will always vom back after 1.0s. So you can still run the car if the gear sensor is broken or disconnected.

3.And the spark cut option to use this table for spark return if mV value is inside the #gear window.

A lot of race guys i know changed from MS to other devices, as here is not enough support for circle track maniacs. And since i have some MS2s and MS3s in my cars, i don't want to be one of them.

Right now they are trying to get 1.5.2 out of beta status and to a release before they can look at adding new features. Once that's across the goal line, we can look at new features. If you'd like to help get 1.5.2 finished, we're giving out 10% off coupons for testing - see this thread.

i have changed all but one of my customer cars from MS to other systems for this reason.
If you are willing to wait i am sure they will get around to creating the feature, a hold over could also be running a geartronics easy shift system.

Looking to control an Elite Racing IL300 6s Evo2 for clutchless up and down shifting, using a load cell on the shifter and Hall effect rotary sensor on the drum.

I have a LS and Albins sequential with a Halls gear selector. Would like very much this feature added.
Thought newly requested features were added in a reasonable time frame. This was first mooted 2 years ago.

i would be willing to spend money to get this feature moved forward. i currently run a sequential trans with a barrel position sensor. i have an air up shift setup for drag racing.
