Hello,

Could you please clarify the reason cranking pulse is limited to 33 ms? Is it something related to SW / HW capabilities?

I have an issue regarding start quality, I believe a higher time would improve it if allowed by the controller.

Why don't you make your reqfuel value higher and then reduce your ve table by the same amount?

Hello Marek,

It does not work changing the values from reqfuel and VE table. The time is limited by the SW at 33 ms.

The first thread you posted to has a reply from the programmer who wrote the code explaining this and also has some workaround strategies which may help you.

The programmer said what the limit is, but did not explain why.
The other strategies do not solve the problem because my injector has a low flow rate and the fuel used is Ethanol, which has a hard time burning at low temperatures.
I would just like to understand the reason for this limitation because a solution might be changing the source code.

Although Megasquirt is an Injection module and ignition really good, I understand the reason that Fuel Tech is dominating the World.
