Was looking on digikey for pricing on the AD595, and they're fairly expensive and seemingly becoming more obsolete.
A quick search on digikey showed other IC Thermocouple Amplifier options, most of which have a serial or i2c interface. The best option I could find that has a voltage output interface is the AD8497 (for K Type).
Does anyone have experience with the AD8497 chip? Are there other better options I'm not considering?

I built an 8-channel EGT board based on the AD595. The board worked but it was overcrowded, so I bought 8 small interface cards from China. Work flawlessly, interface to a TinyIOx which sends the EGT values on the CAN-bus to MS3X. Works fine.
If you are interested I can have a look if the tiny boards are still available.

Was it something like this? HiLetgo DC 3-5V MAX6675 Module + K Type Thermocouple Temperature Sensor Thermocouple Sensor Set M6 Screw for Arduino https://a.co/d/bKpsvmh

Yes, not exactly that board, but very similar.jsdevel wrote: ↑Tue Jan 31, 2023 12:06 am Was it something like this? HiLetgo DC 3-5V MAX6675 Module + K Type Thermocouple Temperature Sensor Thermocouple Sensor Set M6 Screw for Arduino https://a.co/d/bKpsvmh
