MS3Pro w/ JTEC?

Post by joefus25 »

I am currently looking to run in tandem my JTEC+ (99 Dodge 5.9 magnum based) with a MS3Pro EVO. I am trying to keep transmission, charging, cluster, etc controlled by factory PCM.
I have found some resources but I want to clear up a few questions before I order anything if anyone has input as I am definitely no electrical engineer....

It seems that the trigger decoder setting are available for my engine but according to some guy on youtube, will need pullup resistors to get proper signal to MS.

I am unsure if this is possible while still feeding the factory PCM good signals? I am assuming the factory PCM will not work with pullup.

Sharing the coolant and temperature sensors calls for a modification to bias resistors also....is this something I will need to address with the Pro? Or will I have to add additional sensors?

Apparently people have done proper modifications with optoisolaters and such to MS3x/MS2x on the board to share sensors but can I do something equivalent to this with the Pro?

I don't suppose anybody has any insight here? I need to move forward on this project but I am not sure who to ask without just buying one and hoping for the best.....
