Microsquirt v3 - 16v 4AGE Factory VAST ignition only *SOLVED (w/ help from outside source)*

Currently working on a 16v 4AGE large-port in a Corolla w/ a pair of side draught carburetors but using the factory VAST igniter and distributor.

Microsquirt Wiring
4 tooth vr sensor from distributor: NE+ > VR1+, NE- > VR1-
1 tooth vr sensor from distributor: G+ > VR2+, G- > VR2-
IGN1 output to IGT pin on VAST igniter

I initially had Ignition Input Capture set to Rising Edge but wasn't getting any rpm signal. When I changed it to Falling Edge then I started getting an rpm signal. It goes "bleh bleh bleh bleh" and acts like it wants to catch but nada.

I've scoured the MS2/Extra, MS2, Microsquirt... section for other similar setups to confirm my wiring and settings but mostly found megasquirt projects.

Could someone point out what I'm missing and/or doing wrong?

Please disregard this thread now. I've successfully resolved my issue w/ help from an outside source.
