MAF Issues - Reads voltage but no airflow reported

Post by monarchengr »

Hello,

I'm adding MAF to my car and having an issue getting it to read Mass Airflow on the Tuner Studio Gauge (which effectively prevents fuel tuning). I have a voltage reading coming in on the MAF Voltage, but the Mass Flow gauge shows as if I'm at 0v. The cursor even moves up and down the MAF curve, with no change to reported flow. An interesting observation is that whatever I change my '0' Volt value to in the program to, the Mass Flow Gauge then reads that exact value. It looks like it should work, but something isn't talking in the background(or so it seems).

This is using the PIMPxs ecu. I've posted in that forum, but they see nothing wrong in the tune and suggested I post here.

12V Power and ground are from the O2 sensor
Signal Ground is going to an expansion harness sensor ground
Signal is going to a Spare ADC channel from the expansion harness

I've also updated to the most recent v1.6 firmware with the same results. The attached files are from v1.5
It does not look like I need Jumpers since I'm using the expansion harness.
I'm also still using the MAP for ignition timing.

Any suggestions to getting the MAF to work correctly are appreciated.

what pops out for me is voltage is backwards. should be 0 at top 5 at bottom

That will almost certainly break the lookup.

It 100% breaks the lookup. I switched it and everything works great. I copied a MAF calibration from SCT, in which the values count the other way.

Very much appreciated and thanks!
