13.16 VVT Settings

Clicking Boost/VVT > VVT Settings displays the following screen:

The options for these settings are described below:

13.16.1 VVT Settings

No. VVTs

Enables VVT control and selects number of cams to control.

Cam Decoder

The Cam Decoder menu option is only enabled if:

•

VVT is enabled

•

AND "Spark Mode" is set to "Toothed Wheel" (see section 10.1)

Frequency

The Frequency menu option is only enabled if:

•

VVT is enabled

•

AND an output is enabled.

Sets the VVT solenoid PWM frequency typically 200Hz or higher.
