Datalog marks???

Datalog marks???
It used to be that manual datalog marks showed up in the bottom left blue progress bar. I could click on the bar right before them and be on the spot I wanted. Sure I can pull up the submenue and choose, but I hit the spacebar different number of times for different things. SO seeing that visual representation down below helps me zero in on what I want to look at, and to visually see where in the graph it is.
I do not know what the "breaking action" is since sometimes it does show up. Usually seems to be only when I first start program and open a logfile.

Re: Datalog marks???
There seems to be 2 problems with the Marks..
1) They disappeared from the lower progress/position bar
2) If you are doomed out too far, they get too thin and disappear from the main graph. You used to not be able to zoom out so far, so this came to be with the higher zoom out.
The top one was reported a bit back and I forgot about it... I'll get a fix out pretty shortly.

Re: Datalog marks???
I have not noticed issue #2. But I also am used to looking at the main graphs at one zoom setting, so I rarely zoom in or out there. #1 makes sense. I seem to loose the marks when making longer datalogs, like when specifically trying to get a few incidences of a particular problem...

Re: Datalog marks???
Thank you Phil! Between this update and brainstorming on a couple threads, I was able to track down the intermittent issue I have been hunting!!! Thanks again!

Re: Datalog marks???
I am looking for some information about marks in datalogs. I have been logging via the SD card and I can't seem to add marks in MegaLogViewer, is this by design? If so that would mean that marks can only be inserted via laptop logging and hitting the space bar when you want to insert a mark??

Re: Datalog marks???
The SD Logging does not have support for a MARK. Laptop or android logging does..tfalling wrote:I am looking for some information about marks in datalogs. Re: Datalog marks???
There is a pretty simple workaround for this though. Create a dash button and set it up on one of the inputs. You can then see when it is pushed in the logged fields. There is your new mark. Works like a charm. Simplified explanation....LT401Vette wrote:The SD Logging does not have support for a MARK. Laptop or android logging does..
