v0990.1 problems... Error message + other things

Hi,

I just updated to 0990.1 and get this error message when opening my project:

Also the VEanalyze live doesn't start it just says "Initializing... VE Analyze live!"

I removed and reinstalled the TS but it didn't change anything.

This is on Windows7 64-bit.

Edit:
The same with my netbook and normal XP.

Must have something to do with my MSQ maybe?

2nd edit - has to do with the language settings - I switched to from German to English and the error is gone.

BUT! I still can't open all menus (MAT correction table for instance when I try to open this the computer starts to make little knackling sounds)

I have exactly the same problems as you.

"Error opening Saved tune"
"Error loading msq:For string:"9.3"
"Root Problem:For input string: "9.3"

I am using an Atom N270 Netbook with 2gb RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit on it. Previous version was ok. I am running vista compatibility mode and Run as administrator in the properties.

Since there was the update, even with TS closed, the computer seems to be overloaded some times until there is a windows sound "DING" the the load is gone ?!?

TS noticed me an update this morning, I accepted, but I can't burn my msq file to the ecu off the car, how stupid I am !! I should have burned it first.

Do you have the old version of TS ? So I can start and move the car ?
If not I will wait friends to help me to push the car lol

edit 1 : I have the same problem on a Quad Core Q9300 4gb ram and both windows 7 Home Premium 64bits and XP Pro 32 bits. Both computer are making windows sounds ?!? and seems to be overloaded until the "ding" sound.

edit 2 : All my Windows versions are FRENCH. Maybe an langage issue ??

edit 3 : I am using a MS2 with the 3.0.3n firmware. Sorry for all those edit, I am trying to be the most precise to help.

edit 4 : (lol) With TS installed, CPU is running all the time @54% of load and the fan is going on all the time. With TS uninstalled, everything is ok, no unwanted load. an additional of 5% of RAM seems to be used also with TS installed. I have a lot of windows sounds when trying to use TS, like old BIOS sound also.

Thanks, that was fast!

I think you nailed it on the language. I changed the method that formats the decimal places on as it creates string versions of doubles. This method is used throughout the app big time. The new way was Locale specific, to it was looking for a , instead of a '.' if you are non US, meanwhile all our msq use just '.'

From the Help Menu do a "Check for Updates" and you should get 0.990.2

I hope this fixes it.

You got mail again - didn't help wit the error message.

At -least one menu still doesn't open - Advanced - Sequential injection.
There are more - Table switching, Accel enrichment, Nitrous etc.

ONe more thing I noticed - when I switch the Windows language to English and open TS it switches back to German by itself... - maybe that is a hint?

It behaved the same with MS2 and MS3. Lots of 'lost' parameters.
I'm using TS0.990.2 with win7.

Ok guys... Sorry about this. Thanks for you patience.

I just put out 0.990.3 that fixes at least the ding ding ding and

One trouble is that that last version likely corrupt your offline.msq file so you may get an error still the first time you load a project with this version. So load the project, open a "Good msq" The you should be ok, you may want to restart to be sure.

Let me know if this does it for you...

Seems to work for me on another laptop - gonna try tomorrow at the netbook.

Opens up correctly and VEanalyze runs.

Good... With all the new stuff in this release I'm not surprised by some problems, I was surprised by this one! Heck i forgot I even made this change.
