Feature request regarding knock sensor

Well, i had a little idea in the past to record the output of a knock sensor with a computer/laptop, we all know that the knock sensor is a microphone that "listens" the engine and sends various signals to ecu depending of what it hears, now, i've searched about knock sensing modules and found some interesting topics around here, and on one of them this link http://home.netcom.com/~bsundahl/knock/ ... Sounds.htm , the knock sensor was wired to the computer like a normal microphone, and using some computer software he displayed a waveform from the sound file he recorded, what if in tuner studio we had an option to actually record in a separate file the output of the knock sensor during a datalog, and then using MLV we could see the waveform of that file starting exactly when the datalog starts, so now we would have ignition load, ignition timing and what knock sensor is listening, and we could adjust our ignition maps based on that waveform when we see strange behaviour (pinging/knock) or maybe in a near future an ignition map analyzer based on that waveform.

I know it's a little late for this but I too would like to record/playback a sound track,if only to comment on the AFR readings while driving around. I find it difficult ( solo ) to fine tune the AFR table to my liking...

Have tried to record a voice track separately but synching the voice to the datalog playback was not easy..
