That log helped... Give 2.1.22 a try.

Re: Request: gps support in TunerStudio?
Tried it, and thanks! It also cured the long standing issue of TS exiting when disconnecting the USB RS232 dongle.
Now I just have to figure out how to get a GPS speed based fuel consumption gauge on the dashboard.

Re: Request: gps support in TunerStudio?
Just tried the latest beta now that I have a working GPS in the Thinkpad.
(on Linux)
The only option I see is ... well, there are no port options.
It needs to be localhost:2947 just like on Android 4+, Android4+ uses gpsd as well, as it is Linux.
(opened the log and double checked, it didn't get anything w/o a port selectable... There isn't a GPS speed field? (MS2epre3.4b10 at the moment)
Related:
Bluetooth SP mode (serial) under bluez5 ended up being a trivial matter as well, but TS wont open a bound /dev/rfcomm0 properly, but it will use it if already connected.
Can add "rfcomm connect -AESr 0 [bluetooth_device_iD channel] pretty easy to the TS startup script.
(see https://forums.mageia.org/en/viewtopic. ... 519#p56519 )
As long as i keep the BT powered and read rate at 10 or 15 FPS it's dead reliable, can even tune through it (VEAL works better at 50+ fps tho)
.
Can grab a comm debug if it will help, but I can open/close /dev/rfcomm0 with it bound simply using cat.(dongle will connect/disconnect)
Perhaps there is just an initial ~2 sec. delay needed waiting for the connect to happen.

Always doing things the hard way, MS2 sequential w/ v1.01 mainboard, LS2 coils. 80 mile/day commuter status.

Re: Request: gps support in TunerStudio?
Bump, also note that under Linux no serial port for gps is selectable even if gpsd is killed off, which would allow direct connection.
Of course going through libgpsd would be the preferred method.
