Horizontal bar

In Shadow Dash MS, running on Android 5. On the screen with the large tachometer display, there is a horizontal bar above the tach/spedo display.
The bar has a center line and graduates to both left and right in color from green to yellow and red. This horizontal bar is active in the display when I am connected to the MS and the engine is running.

What does this bar indicate?
