It was scheduled for today, but after a quite week 2 new bugs came in. So another beta/RC will go out today. Let's see if all stays good.

Cool. I just downloaded the beta version yesterday and installed it this morning, which it did an update afterwards.

This week I'm planning on updating the firmware to the most current on both my MS3 car's as well as update the digital displays on both to the beta version of TS. I don't do anything exotic with the displays so I shouldn't have an issue.

This caught my eye though, did you add this or is it pulling it from my computer?!?!?

**Edit, nevermind, I see it's a JPEG and not a png, so likely from my computer.

Yes, if you browsed and selected an image, it will cache that for future use.

whats going to happen to the users that have the ULTRA version? Will we be able to keep it or will we have to pay once the final release comes out?

And also, will we be given notice when or if that happens?

everytime i see an update, im worried that it may take away my ultra reg and that may get difficult if it happens at the track with a customer.

The plan is to continue free Ultra Trials for about 30 days after the release. It will not be a release that disables the Trial keys, that is handled by the licensing server. When the Ultra trial registration does stop working, it will roll back to your normal TS registration, so you will only loose the ultra features.

x2?

Best I could really tell is how data is viewed (for dyno tests?) AND the ability to trim individual cylinders utilizing just one or two WBO2 sensors and moving one to each cylinder one at a time instead of one WBO2 for each cylinder at the same time. That last feature I really like the idea of and could likely use.

Bit disappointed. I thought the trim autotune version would be integrated in the basic package of the ms users since the ms package already has the autotune.

Follow up questions. What is the expected cost to upgrade to Ultra (for the standard 3 licenses?) and when is the ETA on it being commercially available (this year or next?)?

It is already released. The Auto Updates to Stable went out yesterday.
Trial Ultra Registrations will still be free to registered users until early August, then it will be a $39.95 Upgrade.

Hello Phil,

From this feature matrix we can see that previous registered users loose features when switching from 2.6.19 to 3.x. WUE autotune for example. I'm a little bit disappointed about that.

So I have a question : where can I download 2.6.19 stable version to reverse to the old version ?

Regards,
Manu

That is WAY Wrong! 80% of the new features went into the normal registration or Lite! edition. Absolutely nothing was removed from a normal registered user!
WUE Analyze is indeed still in the MS edition as always.

There is a heap of new stuff in without Ultra.

Thanks for the update Phil. I surely miss a line in the feature matrix.
All apologies.

Since it's been six years or so since I paid for the TS registration, I will gladly send in another $40 to make use of the new tools in the Ultra version. Thanks Phil!

I'll happily pay for the Ultra version even though the £ exchange rate is crappy and I may not ever use the new features.

Software houses who respond directly to queries the way Phil does should be supported regardless.
