Something Strange Just Happened

MS2 Extra FW 3.2.5 TS 2.6.19. The problem I am having is when TS is running with engine running.

When I open VE or AFR or anything the TS gauges freeze, but as soon as I close them the gauges resume working fine.

One time with the VE table open with engine running the VE changed to all zeros and engine died.

When this happened I was sitting still with engine idling not making any changes.

I reloaded the same tune and the VE table was correct but gauges still freeze with VE table open.

It sounds like you may have turned on Modal Dialogs.
This option has been removed in TS 3+, but in 2.6 I believe it was under the menu:

Options --> Performance --> Modal Dialogs
