VE Analyze Ignoring Cells

Post by subcom »

MS3PRO-EVO
Firmware: ms3 pre-1.6 alpha3
TunerStudio: v3.1.08 (registered)
MegalogViewer: v4.5.06 (registered)

I recently flashed my unit with this latest firmware version to implement the new pwm fan control feature. Today I logged a few test runs to work on my VE Table values under boost which are very rich. VE Analyze for some reason is completely ignoring values in the top right of my VE table even though my log data shows plenty of hits in that area and my VE Analyze filters have broad enough ranges to act upon them. Is this perhaps a new safety feature that skips analysis because AFR is at or below the 10.10 minimum? I've never seen this before and I use VE Analyze often. Thanks!

Actually, it looks like it is getting caught by the dead O2 filter. It filters when the AFR is the min AFR in the log.

TBH, I forgot that MLV did that, I thought on VEAL did that. But, I believe that filter was put in many years ago largely to prevent a warming up O2 sensor from getting counted.

Unfortunately there is no way to disable this filter. I'll add one.

Thanks Phil.
Is this an MLV issue or TS or the firmware itself?
I just ran VE Analyze against an older log (using latest version of MLV) and it's picking up all of the logged cells in the VE table. See attached tarball. Thanks!

It is just in MLV.. I have added a setting to disable the dead O2 sensor filter for next release.
