First, set your engine at TDC 
compression #1

Now rotate the engine 
backwards to tooth#1

The cam sensor should be 
roughly in the middle of 
window/tooth/vane

With the cam sensor powered
and connected to the 
Megasquirt measure the 
output voltage.

A voltage of ~0V here 
requires the HIGH setting and
a voltage of ~5V here 
requires the LOW setting.
